A woven basketry vase made from jute and raffia, featuring natural tassels all over a black base, handmade by Mimi Kerpel.

Perfect as a stand alone sculptural piece, or with a couple of stems of lightweight dried flowers. Can be displayed as a decorative object on the mantel or shelf. Please note this is not suitable to store heavy objects due to its delicate nature. Keep out of direct sunlight to prevent sun bleaching.

Mimi Kerpel is a London based artist, using traditional weaving and basketry techniques to create textiles, objects and sculptural forms. Exploring the intersection between craft and design, her practice focuses on hand crafted processes using natural materials such as jute, raffia and cane. Her work has been exhibited internationally in England, China and Mexico.
