Set of 2 Monochrome Candles, Natural Beeswax
A set of two large hand made and dyed black and white beeswax candles.
Height: Approx 24cm
Base diameter: Approx 2cm
These beautiful candles are handmade in Oaxaca, Mexico using purely natural materials. Maestro Gregorio continues the ancestral tradition of his mother and grandmother, using local natural beeswax. Thin layers of liquid wax are dripped over the wick around 300 times to create a candle. The colours are achieved using only natural plant dyes. The white is achieved by leaving the beeswax in the sun to be bleached of it's natural yellow colour and the black is made by mixing all of the left-over colours together.
Please note as these are handmade and dyed each set will be different, and the colour and placement will vary slightly from the photograph.
